URL Encoder / Decoder is a simple tool developed for encoding and decoding a URL. URL decoding is a process of encoding information in a URI (uniform resource identifier). The characters in the URL are placed with character triplets consisting of the percentage character followed by 2 hexadecimal digits. This procedure is not limited to URLs only. Encoding can also be applied to URIs and URNs.
URL encoding is used when the browser sends data to the webserver. Instead of manually encoding special characters into the string, use this tool. Automate this tedious task and minimize the chances of human error. Use our tool to encode/decode links in a matter of seconds.
You must always use a URL encoder if your link or text consists of numbers, special characters, and non-alphabetic characters.
The characters that are allowed in the URL are either reserved or unreserved. The reserved characters are the ones that have special meaning whereas unreserved characters are the ones that have no meaning.
Don’t worry about using our tool. We don’t save your information on our servers. All information is immediately removed from the server after you are done using our tool.
Follow these steps to use our tool:
Click on the URL Encoder / Decoder tool
A new window will open up
Enter the text you want to encode or decode
Click on “Submit”
Once the URL has been encored, simply click the output text and copy it.
